2XU named Nikki Beal as its new director of sales and marketing for Canada. Beal brings more than 15 years of industry experience, including tenures at Sporting Life, Merrell Footwear, and most recently as the Puma sales manager for Western Canada.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the 2XU Canadian team during such an exciting growth phase,” said Beal. “I look forward to contributing to the brand’s sales effort in Canada.”
Beal is a former professional softball player who previously played for the California Sunbirds. She was also a member of the Canadian National Softball Team Program in 2002 and 2003 before retiring from the game in 2005.
“With Nikki’s level of experience in the Canadian sporting industry, we look forward to her being a key player in the growth and development of 2XU in Canada,” said Doug Vargo, 2XU North America Chief Operating Officer. “We believe Nikki’s sales, marketing and branding experience, together with her vision and enthusiasm will help to position 2XU as a market leader in performance sportswear in Canada.”
