ZG Collective Forms Outdoor Distribution Company

ZG Collective, a newly formed business focused on North American distribution of outdoor, snowsports, cycling, and active lifestyle brands, announced that the company will launch several global brands in 2015. Founded in late 2014, ZG Collective will aggregate international brands and manage ERP/CRM, sales, marketing, Web, and brand building to support its partners, says the company.

“We are preparing to launch a host of global brands under the ZG Collective umbrella that will make significant impacts in their vertical markets in the coming months,” says founder and CEO Jarka Duba. “Our mission is clear. We will build, buy and grow brands we believe in.”

Duba most recently served as the North America managing director for POC, where he imported the Swedish skiing and cycling helmet and accessories brand to the U.S. and oversaw its ascension to market leader in helmets for competitive skiing.

In addition to distributing global brands within North America, ZG Collective says it will create and acquire select brands in order to meet specific market needs and enable rapid growth, delivering competitive advantage via experienced management, resources and support.

Joining Duba at ZG Collective are co-founders Josh Fonner, COO; Nelson Riley, director of technology; Zach Berman, VP of business development; and Marina Chiasson, director of operations. Fonner also joins the ZG Collective team from POC, where he most recently served as North American bike sales manager.
