Youngone, a manufacturer of performance and fashion apparel, opened a Canada liaison office in Vancouver, B.C.. This strategic expansion underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing its presence in the region, and will serve as a hub for collaboration and market intelligence, positioning Youngone to better meet the needs of customers and strategic partners.
To lead the initiative, Youngone hired Diana Seung as SVP. With over 20 years of experience in leadership and execution, Seung brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role.
Most recently, she served as president of tentree, a mission-based apparel brand. Prior to this, she was recruited by Callaway Golf as GM of North America, to lead the expansion of Jack Wolfskin. She was also EVP of merchandising for Backcountry.com, overseeing all buying and development of their private label brands.
“We are thrilled to welcome Diana to our team,” said Michelle Wardian, the president and chief strategy officer of Youngone. “Her proven track record of success and keen understanding of market dynamics will be invaluable as we unlock new opportunities for expansion and growth in this vital region.”
Seung also has experience on the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA)’s board of directors, and served on the Camber Outdoors board.
