Yaktrax and DryGuy, leading providers of traction, warmers and dryers, and Falke USA, provider of ergonomically designed athletic apparel, are combining forces to form the ultimate cold-weather ambassador team: Cold Conquerors. The Cold Conquerors team roster will be diverse, including everyone from mountaineers and snowsports enthusiasts, to winter runners and everyday heroes who know how important it is to stay safe, comfortable and active no matter the conditions.
“Stability, warmth and comfort are essential to fully enjoy the winter season,” said Greg Stryker, Marketing Director at Implus, parent company to Yaktrax and DryGuy. “The Cold Conquerors team will show how proper traction, functional apparel and dry equipment can make a big difference in an active winter lifestyle.”
The Cold Conquerors ambassadors will receive traction and warming products from Yaktrax, apparel from Falke and a range of dryers from DryGuy. In addition, ambassadors will have the opportunity to test and review new and concept products for the brands.
“Falke’s sport products have been thoroughly tested for their ergonomic designs, technical features and fit by real athletes,” said Tanya Pictor, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Falke USA. “The creation of Cold Conquerors is a great opportunity to put this apparel to the test with everyday athletes. Using our apparel will spark conversation about what makes Falke so unique and desired by a range of athletes across multiple disciplines.”
The Cold Conquerors will participate in a handful of social media campaigns that show the respective brands being used in a fun, organic manner. Creativity is encouraged. Many of the campaigns can be completed during the ambassadors’ weekend adventures and ambassadors will have full creative control over their posts, said the companies.
The application period for Cold Conquerors is officially open and applications will be accepted through October 31, 2016. The application can be accessed here.
