Kent, Wash.-based Worldwide, the member-owned buying group for independent retailers, has just concluded its Spring 2013 Trade Show held in Reno, NV with a record number of members and vendors in attendance.
The three-day show activity included 675 vendor exhibiting booths representing more than 850 lines. A full 250 member petailers and 26 new prospective member retailers with more 500 store locations were buying shooting sports, camping/outdoor, fishing, apparel and footwear. Seven eligible retailers became new members at the show. The buying activity showed optimism for the upcoming year in all of these categories, said the buying group.
Also at the event, the Annual Awards for outstanding support of Worldwide members for 2012 were presented at the General Meeting.

The next Worldwide Buying Group Show will be held in Reno, NV from Sept. 16-19, 2013.
