After dedicated outdoor testing and discussions in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, the international jury of outdoor journalists and outdoor gear specialists announced the winners of the Scandinavian Outdoor Award Spring/Summer 2025.
The Overall Winner is FabPatch. To fix a hole or tear in apparel and outdoor gear to lengthen their lifespan is one of the most sustainable things to do. High-quality repair patches from the Finnish brand FabPatch will help you do the job with ease. The Sustainability Award went to Icebug Jarv RB9X. Icebug’s new trail running shoe features a high content of recycled and biobased materials. The jury praised its performance on trails, noting its comfort, grippy and well-cushioned sole and high rebound. The soft-yet-durable upper, which contains 45 percent bio-based nylon, dries quickly. Overall, it is an excellent shoe for long-distance trail runners.

Innovation – Nordisk Reisa Go. The Nordisk Reisa Go, a four-pole tunnel tent designed for camping, gives you the option to purchase the inner tent depending on your needs. Available are a two- and four person inners. At max the Reisa Go can sleep six people and offers a large inner area to stand up and set up chairs and a table. Big mesh panels that can be covered, let fresh air in but keep mosquitos out. Thanks to the stable structure the Reisa Go withstands heavy winds and the use of PFC-free recycled fabrics add to the sustainability.
Lifestyle – Light My Fire Plates Collection. Single-use table wear creates huge waste. Light My Fire’s approach to reduce this problem is the BORROW rental program that gives event makers the option to rent reusable table wear.
