Buff USA, makers multifunctional headwear, announced that Brad Werntz has joined its team as director of sales. The move was effective this week.
Werntz founded Pemba Serves, Inc., a Midwest sales representative agency representing the outdoor industry. Since its founding in 1991, Pemba Serves, Inc. has worked with a plethora of outdoor brands including Petzl, Moonstone, Mountain Hardware, Montrail, Vasque, Patagonia Footwear, Ambler Mountain Works, Gregory, Cloudveil, Blurr and Atlas Snowshoes. An avid climber, Werntz is also the founder of Boulders Climbing Gym in Madison, WI.
“I’m really looking forward to being able to focus my experience in the outdoor industry on a dynamic, growing brand like Buff,” said Werntz. “I’ve long admired the direction and energy of the company and look forward to helping Buff set and achieve new goals.”
As Director of Sales, Werntz will work from his home in Madison, Wisc., and will be responsible for the overall leadership of Buff USA’s sales department.
