VeloSwap Comes to Denver November 3rd

The VeloSwap consumer bicycle swap and expo will arrive in Denver on November 3rd at the National Western Complex.

Now in its 29th year, Colorado’s biggest consumer bike event brings together more cycling enthusiasts, retailers, and manufacturers than any other in North America, with an expected attendance of 8,000 enthusiastic shoppers.

At VeloSwap, attendees will find end-of-season, clearance pricing on cycling’s best brands of road bikes, mountain bikes, commuter bikes, apparel, cycling helmets, apparel, road and mountain cycling shoes as well as vintage and modern components, books, cycling arts & crafts and memorabilia, and much more.

Those who attend can demo bikes, try on apparel for size, and personally inspect items so they know they are getting a good deal. VeloSwap is also a fun treasure hunting opportunity for those seeking holiday gifts and rare cycling treasures or collectors interested in Colorado’s storied cycling past.

Tapping partners from Colorado’s vibrant cycling community, VeloSwap will offer a variety of useful programming on bike fit with Ray Keener, gear and tech tips from Lennard Zinn, cycling safety, and information on cyclist’s rights and responsibilities on the road and trail. VeloSwap partner organizations include Bicycle Colorado, Bicycle Aurora, Bike Blue, Bike Jeffco, Community Cycles, Death Ride Tour, Lucky Bikes, Project Bike Tech, Wish for Wheels, and dozens of top retailers from Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico, and Utah.

“It’s difficult to know if you’re getting a fair deal when buying bikes and cycling gear on eBay,” said Ilana Coenen, the 2018 VeloSwap director. “But come to VeloSwap so you can touch, feel, demo ride, and try on everything for size. There’s no better deal than VeloSwap.”

Tickets to VeloSwap are on sale now at veloswap.com and at Front Range Performance Bicycle locations. Prime vendor booth locations are rapidly filling; vendors can choose their location and reserve a space at veloswap.com.
