Fitness brand TruFit, is now sponsoring youth climbing team, Team ABC, from Boulder, Colo. With a strong focus on youth fitness, TruFit and Team ABC are looking forward to educating and inspiring youth and adults into living active, healthy lifestyles, says the company.
To kick off the sponsorship, TruFit owners John and Adam White visited Team ABC’s training facility in Boulder on January 18 and 19, to put on a workshop with the team. The workshop introduced Team ABC to The UNIT, UNIversal Trainer, as well as Body Leverage training techniques. With a focus on natural movement, Body Leverage training is an ideal complement to Team ABC’s current training regime, says the company. For 2013, TruFit has committed product and educational support to Team ABC.
TruFit’s showcase product, The UNIT – UNIversal Trainer, is made with rock climbing grade materials and is designed to help users of all ages and strength levels to workout with proper form using a functional style of training called Body Leverage Training.
Former World Cup climber Robyn Erbesfield-Raboutou started Team ABC in 2004. ABC stands for Agility, Balance, and Coordination and is based around inspiring confidence and self-esteem. Team ABC is one of the most successful youth climbing teams in the nation.
