The Running Event (TRE), North America’s premier run specialty retail conference and trade show, has opened the proposal window for speaking opportunities at its 2025 event.
This year’s The Running Event takes place Dec. 2-4 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, and will aim to bring together the brightest minds, the latest trends and the most impactful conversations in the running industry.
This year’s education program will be built around the theme “Better Together – Uniting the Running Industry.” It will come to life through action-based content and dynamic learning opportunity. 2025 programming will deliver insight tailored to the evolving needs of run specialty professionals, with key focus areas including:
- Running culture and community.
- The changing consumer.
- Leadership and retail efficiencies.
- Product affordability and money management strategies.
- Apparel and accessories opportunities.
“The Running Event’s education program provides an unmatched opportunity to connect with and learn from peers, industry leaders and subject matter experts,” said TRE conference manager, Caitlin Ewing. “In 2025, we are doubling down on interactive and action-oriented content to ensure attendees leave with tangible takeaways they can implement immediately.”
TRE’s call for education is designed to showcase new and diverse voices, experiences and expertise that shape the industry’s future. Speakers can present in 45-minute sessions, panel discussions or hands-on 45- and 90-minute workshops. Run specialty retailers are highly encouraged to apply.
The call for education is open through Sun., Apr. 20, here. For questions, contact education@therunningevent.com.
