Timbuk2 Extends Contractual Partnerships in Korea and Japan

Timbuk2 announced the extension of current contracts with Korean and Japanese distribution partners; Anvil SNH Co. for Korea and Itochu Fashion System for Japan.

“Anvil has embraced our consumer-centric approach and brought our brand to market in much the same way we do in the U.S.: through Timbuk2 mono-brand stores, multi-brand stores, wholesale and online,” stated Timbuk2 International Sales Director Nicole Chabot. “We are excited to further our partnership with Anvil as they have proven keen insight into the forward-looking, youthful, and creative market emerging in Korea.”

As one of the brand’s first international markets, Timbuk2 has been available in Japan for 10 years. Itochu Fashion System, a leading fashion lifestyle branding company has expanded the brand representation among their strong partnerships with Japanese retailers. They also launched timbuk2.jp with a focus on sharing brand content with Japanese consumers and offering the latest products in the trend-forward market.

“Our approach in each market is differentiated based on their individual dynamics, but our brand remains consistent as an original San Francisco company offering authenticity, innovation and quality available to consumers through branded retail, online and specialty retail,” says Chabot.

Timbuk2 is offered worldwide including in Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Switzerland, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Canada and the United States.
