The Mann Group, Karnan Associates to Form Rep Collaborative

The Mann Group and Karnan Associates announced today that their Collaborative Collective has been expanded to include Rep Agencies in the outdoor, cycling and running industries. C2 Reps is a collaborative metrics-driven group designed to increase rep agency profitability, improve individual rep productivity, and increase service levels to retail accounts. Each group consists of 10 to 15 non-competing agency principles who meet twice each year to learn, compare, examine, network, and analyze specific data from their business to help and support each other in business operations and strategy.

Outside of the biannual summits, members engage throughout the year to build on the foundations laid at the meetings and look to each other for best practices and advice. “Providing group-wide financial reports each month and a committed group of likeminded agency principles, C2 provides an island of collaboration in a normally cut throat business environment,” say the organizers.

“C2 Reps is focused on business profitability, rep productivity, and increasing account value,” said Mann and Karman in announcing the collaborative. “Heavily metrics-driven, C2 Reps will equip agency principles with the data, knowledge, support, and network to sustain and increase their businesses.”

Group members will report key metrics which will be reported in dashboard format and leveraged to identify best practices and areas of significant opportunity. Additionally, the group will strive to quantify the value brought to retailers and how this impacts the profitability of individual rep agencies.

C2 was formed in 2013 with an inaugural group of a dozen running specialty stores. C2 was launched to provide a platform for continuous improvement through collaboration amongst non-competitive peer businesses in the retail industry.
