Stormy Kromer Unveils First Spring Collection

Made in Michigan’s still-rugged Upper Peninsula the collection features hats, shirts and accessories designed to complement its winter offering and reflect the tradition and lifestyle inspired by the brand.

“The winter season is very long in the Upper Peninsula and we cherish the warmer months when we trade our cross country skis for water skis,” said Gina Jacquart Thorsen, Stormy Kromer Vice President. “Now we’ll also be able to trade our wool Kromers for designs more appropriate for the summer’s sun and warmer temps.”

The collection of hats includes traditional Stormy Kromer designs with retractable ear flaps along with cadet, driver, trucker, bucket, and wide brimmed sun hats.  Highlighting the line, the Daydreamer is a wide brimmed sun hat made with 100% organic cotton duck and features a bright solid exterior color with a complementary interior pattern.

The bag collection includes clutches, wallets, packs, purses, and totes. Made with 100% cotton duck, the Crossroads purse (pictured) features bright solid colors with complimentary plaid on the interior and flap corner. The bag is designed to be worn over the shoulder or across the body while its flip top closure and interior zip pocket keep personal effects secure.

The apparel collection includes graphic Tee’s and bandanas. The graphic Tee’s feature motifs inspired by the woods and lakes of the northern Mid West with images of fish, moose, anchors, arrows and canoes.  The bandanas include traditional paisley designs with Stormy Kromer and Michigan inspired elements including a design with a map centered on Stormy Kromer’s home of Ironwood, Mich.
