SIA Unveils Spring Fest Event

In conjunction with the Thin Air Innovation Festival and hosted at Park City Mountain Resort, SIA has created SIA Spring Fest, ”a celebration of winter bringing together the global snow industry including suppliers, retailers, shop employees, resorts, media and consumers for three days of education, entertainment, business and on-snow fun.” The inaugural event will take place April 5 -7, 2018 at the Thin Air Park City is at Park City Mountain Resort.

According to SIA, the event will include panel discussions featuring speakers from inside and outside the winter industry and an on-snow demo for all winter sports enthusiasts to test drive 2019 product.  It will provide the first time that consumers can try next year’s ski and snowboard product on snow at a world class resort. Of course, there will also be parties, bands and networking opportunities each day, said the association.

Cost to the industry is $400 without Epic Pass and $350 with Epic Pass and includes all panel discussions, receptions, breakfasts, and parties. To register, email Kyle Kennedy at kkennedy@snowsports.org. Cost to the public is $50 and includes two days of ski/snowboard demos and access to the majority of the Thin Air panel discussions.

A limited number of spaces are available for brands and vendors. For suppliers that are interested in taking part in the consumer demo, the cost is $1000 for a 10’x10′ at Park City Mountain Resort on April 6 and 7. Demo is 8:30am-2:30 pm each day. Exhibitor space will be based on a first come first served basis.
