Salomon has joined forces with Specialty Sports Venture (SSV) to open a concept store in the heart of Vail’s Lionshead Village. The public is invited to a special party celebrating the new Salomon brand store on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 4:00 pm. The grand opening celebration features a guest appearance by professional skier and ski film star Chris Anthony, a ski giveaway, food, half-off ski demo rentals, and retail promotions.
“This party is our way of thanking the community for welcoming us into Vail,” says Lee Steele, sales and marketing manager for SSV. “A Salomon store is the perfect fit for this area, and we’re thrilled to offer our visitors some of the industry’s best snowsports equipment and apparel.”
Salomon will be selling for men, women, and children both ski and snowboard hardgoods and outdoor apparel, footwear, and partner brand products such as Suunto and Bonfire at the Vail location. Salomon will also feature ski and snowboard rentals. Specialty Sports Venture is a chain of specialty stores in the ski, golf, bike, and fly fishing markets. Today, with more than 150 locations, SSV is one of the largest specialty retailers in the country.
