Co-owners Jason Peter, Zach Svoboda and Phil Walczynski proudly announced the re-opening of Down River Equipment at its new home on Tuesday, Dec. 27. The new location is a mile south of the previous spot, still in Wheat Ridge, Colo., at 11937 W. 1-70 Frontage Rd. North.
“We’ve really stepped up our showroom presentation as well as doubled our production and warehouse space. All of which will make us more efficient and provide a better customer experience,” said Peter. The location offers convenient access to the western edge of the Denver area right off I-70.
With a combined experience of more than 35 years; long time employees Peter, Svoboda and Walczynski became the new owners of Down River in September of 2013 and are carrying on DRE traditions while ushering in a new era at Down River.
Svoboda explains; “Our new location will allow us to continue the tradition that was started by the founders, Dennis Schell & Greg Yeager, 31 years ago and carried on 15 years ago by Christine Wolfe and Mike Prosser. It will also support our goal to expand outreach and involvement in the outdoor and paddle sports community.”
