Raleigh Electric and IZIP, manufacturers of electric bikes, have added three new territory managers to the sales team, as both brands continue to grow and expand in the market.
“As the category, and our sales, continue to scale, the addition of these three new individuals will bring a new level of professionalism to our team and an increased focus on service level to our growing dealer base,” said Larry Pizzi, President of Raleigh Electric.
Covering the Northeast sales territory, Tim Jeffers brings 15-plus years of retail experience to his new post. In the past seven years, Jeffers has focused exclusively on ebike sales and business management running his family’s eIBD in Chico, Calif. Jeffers recently relocated to New Hampshire with his fiancée, and will lead sales representation in this territory.
Tiffanie Miller joins the sales force as the Southeast territory manager. Miller is a passionate cyclist who previously served as the principal at her own independent rep agency. Miller lives in the Atlanta area, and is an active member of the local cycling community.
The new West Coast territory manager is Don Shipman. Shipman brings a wealth of sales experience to the team having previously worked for Specialized and Kryptonite. He was also the founder of Blazing Saddles – one of the largest rental operators in the country. Shipman is based in Northern California.
“With electric-assist bikes becoming a mainstream business, the key for most retailers is how to accelerate the growth curve,” said Pizzi. “It’s no longer a question of if ebikes happen in the US, it’s really when they will be embraced by all IBD’s, and then simply a matter of how significant the category will become. With this enhanced and experienced new team to better service our partners, along with our extremely compelling new 2018 product lines, we continue to lead in differentiating ourselves and our brands, while adding real value for our customers.”
