Rabbit Mountain, a U.S. company distributing outdoor sports and fall protection equipment in Latin America since 1995, headquartered in Miami, announces the formation of a Mexican sister company: Rabbit Mountain de México. Rabbit Mountain de México is a joint venture between Rabbit Mountain and Consultores Lemaan y Asociados, a Mexican company with expertise in International Logistics and Finance, and a strong interest in outdoor brand marketing with extreme sports. The two companies will integrate both sides of the international distribution equation.
“Rabbit Mountain de México is boots-on-the-ground in Mexico for Rabbit Mountain” said Edward Gerety, Rabbit Mountain president.
Rabbit Mountain de Mexico will manage Mexican sales and customer service, order fulfillment, importation of goods to Mexico and warehousing of in-country inventory. It will leverage the existing customer base and stable of brands managed by Rabbit Mountain and catalyze growth in Mexico.
“This is now a true, bi-national distribution organization for outdoor apparel, equipment and accessories as well as for fall protection equipment, which remains a mountain sports essential category. It will be a strong and stable base for expansion of our channels in the whole region,”said Gerety.
