OutDoor/Eurobike Gets New Management Structure

Messe Friedrichshafen announced a new organizational and management structure for trade shows OutDoor (July 11 to 14, 2013) and Eurobike (August 28 to 31, 2013). Project director Stefan Reisinger will assume the newly created position of Head of OutDoor/Eurobike, where he will direct the OutDoor/Eurobike business area including all of the related national and international events around the world, while Dirk Heidrich will become Project Director OutDoor/Eurobike for Friedrichshafen.

The moves are effective December 1, 2013.

Reisinger (pictured right) came to Messe Friedrichshafen from the sports rights agency ISPR in 2003 and has led the OutDoor and Eurobike projects since 2004. In his new function as head of OutDoor/Eurobike, the 39-year-old also will continue to drive the internationalization of both brands forward. Both have given birth to strong international spinoffs, the Asia Outdoor and the asia bike, held in the Chinese city of Nanjing.

In addition, in the future Reisinger will focus more on the management of key international accounts in America and Asia.

Heidrich has been serving as serving as project director of the trade show IT&Büro at Messe Friedrichshafen since October 2012. The 40-year-old was a project manager in the OutDoor/Eurobike team when he first joined Messe Friedrichshafen in 2008.
