OOFOS Boosts International Sales Team

Recovery footwear brand OOFOS announced the appointment of two international industry sales veterans. The company has selected Giles Cundell and Kelly Lopes Da Silva to head up its International Sales Division.

Both Gundell and Da Silva serve as directors of U.K.-based Sport Factory Ltd., and both also join OOFOS from Deckers Brands. Prior to this current assignment, Cundell served as brand director, Europe Middle East and Africa, for Teva at Deckers. Da Silva joins OOFOS from her role as senior director of marketing, Europe Middle East and Africa, for UGG Australia at Deckers.

“In this new role, Giles and Kelly will continue to focus on building the EMEA business for OOFOS, as well as overseeing the existing business and expansion for OOFOS in Asia Pacific and Latin America,” said Deb Gendreau-Flynn, president of OOFOS. “Both will continue to work from their current location with Sport Factory in London to keep the primary emphasis on EMEA business.”

Cundell and Da Silva take over for Michael Harrison who opened up the international markets for OOFOS, which is now sold in 19 international countries. Under Harrison’s direction the brand has enjoyed 149 percent growth year to date during the first six months of the year. Harrison, who also sits on the OOFOS board of directors, will remain with OOFOS as a board member.

“I want to thank Mike Harrison for the fantastic work he has done helping OOFOS build the current network of great Partners and Distributors that are the strong foundation of our current International business,” said Lou Panaccione, OOFOS co-founder. “We are pleased that Mike will continue to be involved as a board member with OOFOS.

In conjunction with this realignment, OOFOS Canada will combine with OOFOS USA to form OOFOS North America.
