The seventh annual Outdoor Inspiration Awards, presented by adidas Outdoor, is now accepting nominations. The awards ceremony is set for January 11, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. during Outdoor Retailer Winter Market.
The event was created to “celebrates the extraordinary passion, dedication and inspiration within the outdoor industry.” Nomination categories include outstanding individuals, retailers, manufacturers, nonprofits and a youth category sponsored by Boy Scouts of America. JanSport, marking its 50th anniversary in 2017, has also joined as a presenting sponsor. Click here to make your nominations.
The Outdoor Inspiration Awards celebrates those who inspire others to enjoy, participate in and support outdoor activities and the outdoor industry. adidas Outdoor and Boy Scouts of America work with Outdoor Retailer and a panel of industry leaders to select the annual winners. The nomination period will remain open through November 16, 2016.

Co-hosts Alex Boylan and Burton Roberts from DreamJobbing and reality TV fame will be back to present awards and tell the powerful stories of the nominees. True adventurers themselves, Boylan won Amazing Race Season 2 and Roberts competed in Eco-Challenge Fiji and Survivor.
