Newell Brands, the parent company of outdoor brands Marmot, Coleman and Stearns, among others, announced the appointment of Ravi Saligram as president and CEO, and a member of the Newell Brands board of directors, effective October 2.
Saligram comes to Newell Brands with a background in consumer brands, omnichannel commerce and global operations. He is currently CEO and a director of Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Inc. Saligram also served as CEO of OfficeMax Incorporated, exiting the company after his championship of the merger with Office Depot.
