Following the success of the Off Grid Tools Survival Axe, which was initially crowd-funded by a Kickstarter campaign, Off Grid Tools will launch a host of new products in 2018. Leading the way will be the Survival Companion — a multi-purpose tool to complement the Survival Axe.
Off Grid Tools says it “fuses small-scale functionality with large-scale durability, tackling any situation that may arise at home, on the job, during an emergency, or in the great outdoors.”
The Survival Axe combines 30 tools in one compact and lightweight axe, said the company.
“Though originally developed for search and rescue workers, the Survival Axe has since been purchased by everyday consumers who have prepped their homes for emergencies, added the axe to their outdoors kits, and brought the tool on road trips. For many, myself included, being prepared for any and all situations is a must,” said company designer Marvin Weinberger.
To lead the brand’s press initiatives, including the launch of all new product, the company has retained marketing and communications agency, Vendeloo, Inc.
“We’re very excited to launch a range of new Off Grid tools this year, including our Survival Companion and Survival Companion Pro, and soon-to-be released, Personal Escape Tool, among others,” said Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Nick Teigland.
