Running accessory brand Nathan recently announced the hiring of Ty Wivell as the brand’s eastern regional sales manager. Wivell, a 20-year veteran of the running, cycling, and outdoor industries, will lead relationship development and business planning with key accounts, while overseeing a sales force in a territory that spans from North Dakota to the east coast.
Wivell comes from Daymen US, Inc. where he was the national sales manager responsible for the sales and distribution strategy. Prior to joining Daymen, he served as a senior associate at Stoner-Andrews, Inc. supervising sales and service to brands including Camelbak, Clif Bar, Mountain Hardwear, Montrail, Timbuk2 and Sierra Designs. Wivell also served on the Eastern Outdoor Reps Association from 2007 to 2011 as vice president of the New England Chapter, where he established a multi-year leadership plan.
Wivell joins Lindsay Cousley, the brand’s western regional sales manager, on the sales management team, and will report directly to Rick Olson, vice president of sales for Nathan. He will be based in his home state of Maine.
