Microban International received bluesign approval for its ZPTech technology, a wide-spectrum antimicrobial for textiles. Microban’s ZPTech technology is not only effective against bacteria, but also, the growth of fungi including mold, mildew and algae, says the company. It is used by more than 60 apparel and footwear brands.
Microban says it is also committed to obtaining bluesign approval for its textile portfolio including Aegis, Excalibur, Scentry and SilverShield. The company has been a bluesign system partner since 2014.
