This summer, the Shmooz is back. Malakye, a leading careers Web site for professionals and companies in lifestyle-driven industries, returns it Shmooz at Agenda in Long Beach on July 26 and at Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City on August 2. Each event features a discussion panel focused on standing out in a competitive job market which will be held from 11am to 11:45am, followed by a 15-minute break. Then, the traditional career fair and networking event will take place from noon to 4pm.
Many well-known companies will be eager to recruit at the Shmooz, including Bemis, The Clymb, Specialized, Specialty Sports Venture, Industrial Revolution, Petzl, Backcountry.com, KEEN, OAKLEY, FOX, Bamboo Skate, Hart & Huntington | SO CAL, Incipio, ASICS, and Pacific Sunwear; with more to be announced in the coming weeks. These companies will be recruiting individuals for a wide range of positions, including sales, marketing, software development, retail, and more.
