Lowe Alpine Hires Redline Sports Group

Lowe Alpine announced the addition of Redline Sports Group to its outside sales team. The move helps to further consolidate the sales force of Lowe Alpine and Rab, Lowe Alpine’s sister brand. Redline has served as the Rockies representation for Rab since 2009 and now its efforts with Lowe Alpine will extend into Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and New Mexico.

Founded in 2001, Redline Sports Group is made up of principal and founder Tim Hattrup, and reps Matt McKay and Thomas Seymour.

“Redline’s reach in the region provides the perfect stage needed to grow the Lowe Alpine brand,” said Chris Tennal, Country Manager for Equip North America. “Now we are excited to see what Lowe Alpine can achieve in their capable hands.”

Redline will join the small and focused joint sales team of Lowe Alpine and Rab alongside Chris Ennis in the Pacific Northwest, Derek Humphrey in New England and the Atlantic coast, and Scott Curtis in the California region. Remaining territories will continue to be handled internally.

It’s been two years since Equip Outdoor Technologies, the parent company of Rab, completed the purchase of Lowe Alpine. In those two years, under the direction of Equip, Lowe Alpine has reworked its entire product line offering new categories of backpacks and apparel that speak to the North American consumer, says the company.

Redline Sports Group is based in Boulder, Colo., and represents Sanuk, Fortress Eyewear, Pat’s Backcountry Beverages, Rab and Lowe Alpine. Tim, Matt, and Thomas can be reached at tim@redlinesportsgroup.com, matt@redlinesportsgroup.com and Thomas@redlinesportsgroup.com respectively.
