Kammok invites all to join the nation in sleeping under the stars on July 21, the Eve of National Hammock Day. Never slept overnight in a hammock? No fear. Kammok is organizing nation-wide campouts to help share the magic of hammock camping with a goal of making history by getting as many people as possible sleeping off the ground on a single night.
“Hammock camping is therapeutic, wildly easy, and introduces a new and creative way to sleep under the stars in nature,” said Grace Mueller, Marketing Manager at Kammok. “We want to bridge the gap for campers and non-campers alike, who have only known tent or RV camping, giving them an elevated experience they will never forget. We’re thrilled this will be the first time hammock camping for many, and we’re confident it won’t be the last.”
Kammok has organized six campouts around the nation and is asking supporters to recruit friends, join a campout, or host a local campout of their own. Local campouts include Austin, Texas, Denver, Colo., Jackson, Wto., New York, N.Y., Springfield, Mo. and Anchorage, Alaska..
By pledging to sleep under the stars on July 21, participants will receive information about local hammock camp events near them and have a chance to win a $100 Kammok gift card.
