With Outdoor Retailer’s future location still up in the air, Grassroots Outdoor Alliance announced its Connect trade show will move back to Knoxville, at least for the time being. Outdoor Retailer and Grassroots Outdoor Alliance Connect had previously announced a co-located event in Utah before the decision to move OR from Salt Lake City. Hopes were for a collocated event by Spring of 2018.
“The goal for Grassroots Outdoor Alliance is to co-locate with Outdoor Retailer as soon as possible, but in the short term we need to take care of our immediate business needs,” GOA President Rich Hill said in a press release.
GOA needs to ensure that its members will be able to book travel and hotels for the trade show, said the group, and Outdoor Retailer has yet to announced a new location.
The dates of GOA’s upcoming invitation-only trade shows are as follows:
June 12-16, 2017: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Nov. 7-10, 2017: Knoxville, Tenn.
June 14-17, 2018: Knoxville, Tenn.
