Gear Aid Launches Adventure-themed Tenacious Tape Gear Patches

Gear Aid, a leading designer of repair and maintenance products for outdoor gear, introduced its Tenacious Tape Gear Patches with new shapes, sizes, colors and even reflective patches. Previously launched as Tenacious Tape Tattoos, Gear Aid Gear Patches will repair holes, hide stains and personalize jackets, outdoor gear, luggage and water bottles.

Nylon fabric backed with Gear Aid’s ultra-aggressive Tenacious Tape adhesive, Gear Patches provide simple peel and stick repairs; no cutting, sewing or ironing required. Tenacious Tape patches also are washable and unlike duct tape, won’t peel or lift overtime.

“We wanted to make repairs fun and bring adventure into everyday life,” said Cheriss Faiola, Gear Aid marketing and PR manager.

For either $5 or $10 people can patch a jacket, and express their adventures on everyday items such as a backpack or laptop. Current themes include wildlife, camping, Sasquatch, kids, snow, hiking, paddling and hunting.
