Gateway Trade Funding Teams with Pale Morning Media

Gateway Trade Funding, a financial partner with deep roots in ski, outdoor and action sport markets, announced the selection of Pale Morning Media as a strategic member of its growing team.

Headed by Ned Post and Tom Novembrino – an experienced duo from the outdoor and banking industries – Gateway Trade Funding (www.gatewaytradefunding.com) provides rapid, customizable financing solutions for growing businesses. Offering an array of financial tools, including purchase order financing, Gateway Trade Funding helps businesses purchase finished goods and ensure timely delivery to customers.

Pale Morning Media is a public relations and strategic communications agency dedicated to the outdoor world, founded in 2001 by Drew Simmons.

“Our goal is to help emerging brands who have the opportunity to grow within their grasp but don’t want to surrender equity to finance that growth,” said Post. “We’ve spent a lot of time in the outdoor marketplace, we recognize good ideas when we see them, and we’re committed to helping people grow.”

Post spent more than 20 years as president of Smith Optics, transforming it from a $15 million goggle company to a $110 million global outdoor and lifestyle accessories business. He joined Gateway Trade Funding in December 2015. He has spent more than 35 years in the international outdoor and sport space.

Novembrino is Gateway’s Executive Vice President. Before founding Gateway, he served as a Vice President with U.S. World Trade Corporation, an export trading company subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp. Novembrino has more than 25 years of experience in international banking and trade finance.

“It’s no secret that the future of the outdoor industry is in the hands of today’s rising brands,” said Simmons. “They bring boundless spirit, energy and innovation to the marketplace. They’ve got unquestionable passion and incredible products, and a lot of times all they’re lacking is a hand across a key financial bridge.”
