EORA Wraps Up Growing Regional June Shows

The Eastern Outdoor Reps Association’s June trade shows held in Edison, N.J., Greenville, S.C., and Manchester, N.H., finished up strong with retailer and sales rep participation increasing over 8%. Shows had a high percentage of regional attendees, with 21 states represented overall, says EORA.

Hundreds of product lines were represented in a diverse range of categories, with a special focus on softgoods, footwear, and accessories. Greenville and Manchester attendees participated in industry trend discussions led by Todd Poseley of NPD Group, while in New Jersey, a seminar on the current outdoor retail environment was led by Tether Marketing and Kai Creative.

“Our regional shows continue to be the smart choice for buyers and reps. We’re able to keep increasing attendance because our shows are cost-effective, highly productive, and convenient for busy retailers.” remarked Debbie Motz, EORA Executive Director.

Next up for EORA is a show in Ellicott City, Md. (July 12-13), as well as August shows in Greenville, S.C. (Aug. 7-9) and Killington, Vt. (Aug. 15-17) where there will be special Dealer Receptions and, in Killington, stand-up paddle board and kayak demos each day.
