EORA Accepting Grant Applications

EORA announced the continuation of the Outdoor Opportunity Grant Program for 2016. Non-profit organizations with youth-oriented outdoor programs are encouraged to apply.

The Outdoor Opportunity Grant Program was launched in 2013 in an effort to support local communities in each of the three eastern regions EORA serves. The program is designed to reflect the philosophy of EORA’s membership by encouraging the engagement of our youth with the outdoors through educational activities and opportunities. EORA has awarded 25 grants to organizations since the program’s inception.

Each applicant must be a charitable non-profit organization with IRS 501(c)(3) status. Grant amounts are up to $500 ($1500 divide to three different non-profits per region). Past recipients are not eligible.

To apply for a grant, visit www.EORA.org/eora-grant-program. The application deadline is September 18, 2015. All applicants will be notified of their status by November 1, 2015, with awards distributed by April 2016.
