Eco Brands Group, Alchemy Goods Form Partnership

Eco Brands Group (EBG), makers of upcycled consumer adventure lifestyle brand Green Guru Gear and custom product brand Ecologic Designs, has formed a partnership with another leading recycled products manufacturer, Alchemy Goods.  The deal allows the two sustainability minded organizations to further reduce materials going to landfill and create more green manufacturing jobs in the U.S.

Eco Brands Group’s has been providing upcycled products to consumers and businesses for 15 years. It’s Green Guru Gear offers sustainable outdoor and bike gear made primarily from upcycled gear waste and other durable materials such as bike tubes, climbing ropes, wetsuits, and tents. Ecologic Designs works with companies and organizations that have durable materials by transforming or upcycling into a variety of bags and accessories. Clients include a range of customers such as Patagonia, CLIF Bar, People For Bikes, New Belgium Brewing, and many other sustainability interested organizations.

Alchemy Goods (AG) has been offering similar products with a focus on the fashion and gift markets since 2004. AG has upcycled more than 500,000 bike tubes and counting. Products are also made from discarded billboards that are upcycled into bags and accessories for stylish eco-minded consumers. In addition to consumer products, AG offers custom product development and manufacturing for companies including TREK, Whole Foods, and the Seattle Seahawks.
