Sold in 24 countries worldwide, Direct Alpine is now available for sale in North America for the fall/winter 2018/19 season. The brand is currently enlisting athlete ambassadors to represent the brand in the United States, in return for free gear and commissions for each sale made.
Built for high mountain environments, Direct Alpine is known for technical apparel innovation rooted in sustainability since 1997. The Direct Alpine athlete team has always played an important role in the brand’s history, from product development and idea generation, to creating excitement for the brand, said the company.
“It’s been less than a year since we established distribution and operations in Eagle, Colorado, including a dedicated website for North America,” says Dimitar Dimitrov with Direct Alpine USA. “The next big focus is to engage with fans and key influencers in the U.S. market on a deeper level, and ultimately support our dealers and customers in North America.”
Direct Alpine invites high alpine enthusiasts, including backcountry skiers, alpinists and climbers who enjoy testing gear and sharing their experiences online, to apply. Individuals will be selected based on a number of factors, including social media presence, photographs, videos, words and experience in the outdoors. Ideal candidates are actively promoting skiing, climbing and other high mountain endeavors, and should have a solid social media presence. Ambassadors will receive Direct Alpine apparel and outerwear to test and review each season, plus additional swag and sales incentives.
Headquartered in the Czech Republic, Direct Alpine produces 95-percent of its product collection in Europe, adhering to strict environmental and manufacturing standards.
