DICK’S Sporting Goods will hold two grand opening celebrations at the end of the month. On the weekend of April 27, the sporting goods retailer will celebrate the opening of a store in Waco, Texas, and in Little Rock, Ark.
The Waco location is located in the Richland Mall on West Waco Dr., while the Little Rock door will open in the McCain Plaza on East McCain Blvd. With these new stores opening, DICK’S will now have 727 DICK’S Sporting Goods stores nationwide in 47 states. The new DICK’S locations will bring approximately 135 collective jobs to two communities through the hiring of full-time, part-time and temporary associates for these stores, said the retailer.
For each grand opening weekend, customers will receive the chance to win great prizes and meet several special guests, such as former college and professional quarterback Robert Griffin III in Waco, Texas and former college and professional running back Darren McFadden in Little Rock, Arkansas.
