Dick’s to Add Two Doors in June

While the attention continues to stay on what stores are closing, Dick’s Sporting Goods will be opening two stores on June 17: its 35th store in Florida, at Butler North in Gainesville, and its 28th store in Illinois, at Prairie Crossing in Quincy. The two represents the 647th and 648th locations for the sporting goods chains.

Both store will be celebrating grand opening celebrations on the weekend of June 17. The first 100 people in line at each location will receive a free Reebok Play Dry T-Shirt. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Friday will get a chance to open the DICK’S Sporting Goods Gift Locker. Saturday and Sunday giveaways include a free Mystery Gift Card for the first 100 adults in line.

Quarterback Rex Grossman will make an in-store appearance from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Gainesville location, while former St. Louis outfielder Vince Coleman will make an in-store appearance from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Quincy store.
