Deuter USA announced the addition of Jonathan Degenhardt, who assumes leadership of the marketing teams of German heritage backpack brand Deuter and backcountry safety pioneer Ortovox in the U.S. market.
Degenhardt’s career in the outdoor industry spans years of specialty retail experience and leadership duties for top brands including Scarpa and, most recently, La Sportiva. In the role of senior marketing manager, Dagenhardt will bring experience in sales and operations in addition to his strategic marketing background to Deuter USA.
