Cauldryn Offers Water Bottle that Boils

No longer is an outlet needed or, in remote locations, even a fire to boil water. Number 6 Brands is announcing the launch of a new water bottle, Cauldryn, offering a portable heated beverage container with the ability to boil water from a battery.

The Cauldryn is a first-of-its-kind water bottle that can boil water or keep the contents at the ideal hot beverage drinking temperature for extended periods of time with a battery. The bottle provides outdoor enthusiasts with options where there is typically limited access to fire and electricity.

“Safe drinking water is key to survival. Boiling is the best way to make water safe.

You can’t always get a fire, but if you can get a boil you can greatly increase your chances of survival,” said Mykel Hawke, survival expert and host of “Man, Woman, Wild” and “One Man Army.”

Featuring a modular design, the Cauldryn bottle comes in two different models, the Cauldryn Fyre and Cauldryn Fyre Mobile. Both offer a 16-ounce, stainless steel, vacuum insulated bottle with lid, revolutionary Fyre heating element, and the Cauldryn Fyre Mobile model includes a rechargeable battery.

The Fyre heating element attaches to the bottle and has four different heat settings — Hot, Extra Hot, Brew and Boil, allowing the contents to reach up to 212 degrees. The Fyre heating element can also run directly from either an AC or DC power source using the included AC base or optional DC base for unlimited boil, brew, high heat, or drink cycles.

Cauldryn is running a Kickstarter campaign in the month leading up to its debut at the Outdoor Retailer trade show.
