Chums and Beyond Coastal this week announced Matt Patterson as national sales manager. In his new post, Patterson will lead sales efforts for both brands and help develop new channels and products.
Patterson served most recently as director of sales and marketing at Hydrapak, where he led the brand’s global sales development, including the launch of the Hydrapak OEM program. After his arrival at Hydrapak in 2005, the company soon became the hydration industry’s leading manufacturer of OEM reservoirs in partnership with brands like Shimano, The North Face, Marmot, Scott, and Nathan. Patterson will remain on the Hydrapak sales advisory board.
Prior to Hydrapak, Patterson spent three years at The North Face, starting in retail management and eventually getting promoted to the marketing department, where he directed the creative marketing and collateral for the TNF sales team.
