Bear & Son Cutlery has acquired Gatco Sharpeners, saying the purchase will round out the company’s product line and provide a one-stop shop for knives and sharpening.
“Bear & Son is equipped with a rich family tradition in knife making, and the Gatco brand is a perfect match,” stated owner Ken Griffey. “The process for building stock for the new product line is already underway and we are looking forward to offering this new line to our retail partners in an effort to help complete their knife needs.”
