Backcountry Brand Stoic Launches Entry-Level Camping Collection

Today, Backcountry.com house brand Stoic entered the gear market with a new 2020 camp collection that includes a selection tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, tables and chairs. Intended for those just getting into the outdoors, as well as “more seasoned outdoor enthusiasts,” the new collection delivers user-friendly products with modern styles and color palettes, said the company.

“With outdoor recreation surging across the country, our customers are continuing to venture out in new ways, turning to the outdoors to spend quality time with their friends and families,” said chief product officer, Michael Tressler. “Stoic’s fall collection was designed to provide avid and aspiring outdoor enthusiasts with an accessible price point across our assortment of high-quality, highly functional camp gear to encourage continued participation throughout the year. Like all Backcountry products, we take considerable input from our Gearheads and customers, and the new Stoic collection embodies what we’re hearing from our community.”

Key products include a four-person, three-season tent (pictured) priced at $200 and two lighter backpacking tents, include in the Driftwood two-person tent priced at $250.

Stoic’s pinnacle sleep system for fall includes a 20-degree sleeping bag ($84.95) and sleeping pad ($89.95).

To complete the camp set-up, the Dirtbag Square Table ($69.95) is a lightweight, collapsible aluminum camp kitchen table, which can be complemented with Fire Side Lounger ($54.95), a durable and foldable option, and the Basecamp Bivy Quilt Double ($94.95), an insulated, water repellent blanket.
