AMGA’s 2017 Petzl Scholarship Recipient Announced

Petzl is proud to support Naz Ahmed, winner of the American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA) 2017 Petzl Scholarship. Ahmed will utilize the scholarship pursue AMGA Rock Guide Course.

“We are happy to help support Naz Ahmed as she increases her skills and shares her knowledge with the climbing community. We believe that her work as a guide will have a positive impact on our community and look forward to the day she achieves full AMGA guide certification,” said Dave Hugar, marketing director for Petzl.

The company’s contributions to the AMGA help keep tuition costs low and support a scholarship for an eligible student taking an AMGA program in any discipline.
