Survival and safety brand ACR Electronics announced the acquisition of Ocean Signal, Ltd., a supplier of marine safety and survival equipment. Combined, the two companies now have the in-house capabilities to develop the next generation of survival products for the maritime, terrestrial, military and aviation markets, say the companies.
Financial terms of the acquisition will not be released.
Together the companies offer a full range of Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons, Personal Locator Beacons, Search and Rescue Transponders, AIS Man Overboard Beacons, VHF radios, Searchlights, rescue strobe lights, pyrotechnics, and safety accessories.
