Primaloft to Hold Third ‘Coat Swap’ at ORSM

For the third year in a row, PrimaLoft will host its Retailer Coat Swap August 3-4 at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2016, while supplies last. Retailers are asked to bring gently used outerwear to the PrimaLoft booth in exchange for a new PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Active Vest. PrimaLoft is donating the outerwear to Salt Lake City’s Volunteers of America, Utah, a human services nonprofit organization providing programs addressing homelessness, substance abuse, mental illness, and domestic violence.

The PrimaLoft Gold Active Vest is a breathable, insulated vest featuring 60g PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Active, in both men and women’s styles.

“The outerwear swap enables us to join forces with retailers to give back to the city that hosts Outdoor Retailer each year,” said Mike Joyce, PrimaLoft president and CEO. “With this charitable initiative, those in need will be able to live more comfortably as the weather turns cooler. We have seen great participation with this initiative previously and look forward to a strong response this year.”

“We are so happy PrimaLoft chose Volunteers of America, Utah to be the recipient of this much needed outerwear,” said Kathy Bray, president and CEO of Volunteers of America, Utah. “This donation will help our homeless clients stay comfortable during the summer and upcoming fall/winter season.”

Qualified retailers are invited to bring a gently used outerwear garment to the PrimaLoft booth #40043 at OR Summer 16. In return for their garment, retailers will receive a limited edition PrimaLoftGold Insulation Active Vest in the gender and size of their choosing.
