PMI Acquires the Business of Aladdin South America

Pacific Market International (PMI) has added Aladdin South America to its portfolio of brands. Already the owner of the iconic Aladdin brand everywhere except South America, this transaction completes its global ownership of the brand.

Effective immediately, Aladdin South America will operate under the corporate entity of PMI South America as a brand-marketing, product innovation company that manufactures in Brazil.

Aladdin South America, with headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, was established in 1938 and is the number one brand of insulated vacuum bottles in Brazil. With two ISO 9001 manufacturing facilities in Brazil, Aladdin South America will expand its operations to accommodate new products and brands from PMI – specifically Stanley and Migo, which serves the China/Asia Pacific market. In addition, the Aladdin product lines developed for EMEA, North America and China/Asia Pacific will be available to customers and consumers in the critically important Latin American market.

PMI’s corporate headquarters are in Seattle, Wash. USA.  North America product development, marketing and sales for the Aladdin and Stanley brands operate out of the Seattle location and PMI also has design, engineering, quality, sales and merchandising operations in Shanghai, China for the China and Asia Pacific markets. In addition PMI owns an injection molding facility in Dongguan China.  It has sales offices throughout the USA, Europe and now Brazil.
