Mystery Ranch Adds Outdoors East in Mid Atlantic and New England 11 Inside Outdoor | SPRING 2020 Sweet Protection Names Director of Sales and Marketing Makers of high-performance helmets and goggles, Sweet Protection recently named Atle Enberget as its director of sales and marketing. Enberget has held various jobs for the company during the last 17 years, including the most recent position of director of international sales. He will now inherit the additional responsibilities of running the company’s international marketing arm. Enberget’s change in responsibilities means he will spend more time focused on running the com- pany’s marketing department, especially as the company looks to build on its resonance in the North American market. Sweet Protection expects to un- veil new lines of goggles and helmets this summer and next winter. “I’ve been part of this brand since we started, so it’s not really ‘work’ anymore; it’s a lifestyle,” En- berget said. “When you join the forces of sales and marketing and start pulling in one direction, and you agree on ideas for where the company is headed and the bigger picture, that makes sense for the entire organization.” Enberget is based out of Sweet Protection’s corporate headquarters in Trysil, Norway. Astral Names New Rep for Mid-Atlantic La Sportiva Partners with Howe Sound in Canada Howe Sound Sales has signed on to represent La Sportiva in Western Canada, which includes British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon Territory and Northwest Territories for the brand. Howe Sound Sales is made up of Julian Stoddart as principal, Tom Wright as associate and Nathan Pinchak as technical and events support. Stoddard and Wright manage sales and support throughout Western Canada operating in the Vancouver/Squamish area with a showroom in Vancouver. Pinchak provides tech rep and event support in Eastern B.C. and Alberta. “Western Canada represents a continued opportunity for La Sportiva to grow the brand in communities that are dedicated to the mountains,” said Wes Green, vice president of sales and marketing at La Sportiva North America. “The Howe Sound team’s goal is to offer high levels of service, regional market insights and superior technical knowledge for both retailers and vendors. Astral, a manufacturer of award-winning PFDs and footwear, announced the addition of Tad Fox of DIY Outdoor to its sales team. Fox will rep- resent the brand across the Mid-Atlantic region, covering New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Penn- sylvania, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. Based out of Hackettstown, N.J., Fox has rep- resented footwear brands such as Hoka, Asolo and Forsake. Bozeman, Mont.-based pack brand Mystery Ranch has retained Outdoors East, led by Justin Sterner, to represent its mountain and hunting catego- ries in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Penn- sylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C.
