Inside Outdoor | WINTER 2021 19 PRODUCT MARKET SHOWCASE | WINTER 2021/2022 Archer Components Archer Components now offers two systems to convert any mechanical rear derailleur to wireless electronic shifting: The D1xTrail with Micro Adjust remote for mountain bike and now the D1x Trail with the Drop Bar Remote. Both systems utilize the same D1x Trail shifter, but this unit controls each shift point on the cassette for any speed 2-20 and with any brand mechanical rear derailleur. At the handlebar, the Micro Adjust two-button mountain bike remote mounts to a SRAM matchmaker clamp, and for CX or Gravel riders, there is the new DBR remote that seamlessly integrates into a TRP Hylex RS brake hood. Both systems also allow on-the-fly micro adjustment if anything goes out of tune. SRPs are $289 for the D1x Trail, $399 for the Drop Bar Remote. Beringia Diomede is Beringia’s proprietary fabric that knits mul- tiple layers of fabric into one ultra-stretchy waffle. The base layer collection underwent two years of testing and design refinement in the Japanese Alps be- fore release. The 2:1 stretch ratio and comfort of the fabric allow Beringia to fully integrate a full-face balaclava that can be pulled on instantly for wind and deep powder protec- tion, but the highly compressible fabric allows the hood to disappear unnoticed when not in use. SRPs are $180 for the top and $150 for the bottom. Beyond Clothing The new Trek Glove System is designed to adapt to your needs with a modular two-layer approach. The first layer, a lean work glove, keeps hands protected and nimble for working on a variety of tasks. The second layer, a removable outer shell, features PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Eco for extra warmth when needed. Both layers pack down into an included stow bag. SRP is $120. Bertucci Performance Field Watches The A-2CT Cera-Ti is a new titanium field watch with a heat-cured ceramic coating that provides enhanced abrasion, corrosion, chemical and impact resistance. Built to perform in the most extreme conditions, the 40mm field watch is offered in three tactical colors – OD green, graphite black and desert sand – all with an opaque matte finish for a look that stands out. The watch comes equipped with either a U.S. Patented, B-Type, heavy-duty nylon webbing band or a Tridura Ultra-Duty band that resists tearing, fraying, cracking and dry rot. SRP is $220.
