Inside Outdoor | WINTER 2020 40 Product Market Showcase | WINTER 2020/2021 Blizzard The Black Pearl is part of Blizzard’s new collection of all-mountain freeride skis that have been reengineered to achieve the ideal balance of stability, performance and efficiency for a full day in today’s real-world conditions. At the heart of the collection is the TrueBlend Flipcore – a new way to build the core of a ski, strategically layering various woods down the length and across the width, like a grid. The tip and tail are softer, which allows skiers to come into a turn with grace and exit smoothly. Power and stability build with denser woods through the center of the ski, a zone that’s critical for edge grip, speed and control. Gregory The Resin daypack is built with com- pletely recycled materials, PVC-free coated fabrics and conscience choices in construc- tion to reduce the impact that each back- pack has on the future of our environment. The sustainable materials, although new for Gregory, don’t come at the expense of qual- ity and performance. Mindful additions such as weather-resistant front panel, dedicated laptop sleeve and front handle for an easier carry add functionality to this environmental- ly conscience choice. The Resin is available in 24 (SPR $99.95), 26 ($109.95) and 30-liter capacities ($119.95). Black Crows The Justis is Black Crows’ new all-terrain ski aimed at the wilder adventures. It combines the Daemon and Navis models with a waist width for going far and wide, a double titanal plate for committed skiing and a good dose of rocker for better control. Boasting 100mm underfoot and a turning radius of 21m, this is the perfect ski for those wanting to attack a range of terrain – from moguls to powder to groomers. The Justis will come in four sizes: 171, 177, 183, 189 cm, with an SRP of $959.90. GEAR
