Holey Footwear If there is one thing footwear brands can do to extend the lifespan of their athletic shoes, it’s make sure the uppers are durable and don’t form holes. According to a consumer survey by Arris Composites, the largest segment of respondents said they replace their athletic shoes “whenever holes form.” Four in 10 replace their athletic shoes after a year or less. Yoga Slowdown Yoga studios have become a common part of the American street scene, with the trend impacting sport and fashion. During the past 10 years, the number of studios has grown by 166%, according to findings from BoldData. In 2016 alone, 1,499 yoga entrepreneurs opened their own yoga school. But 2020 seems to be a tipping point for the popularity of yoga, from this moment the growth slowed, down to 2%.
